Robin Fowler, MEd, CFRE
Robin has more than 35+ years as a successful fundraising leader, strategist and community builder. Her deep experience in the philanthropic sector began as a student phonathon caller at McGill University, where she completed two McGill degrees (BA, MEd) and began her career in fundraising.
Over her long career in consulting and in executive roles leading organizations, Robin has worked in and with many charities across Canada, and raised and helped her clients raise many hundreds of millions of dollars. She has successfully executed and scaled high-impact, multi-faceted philanthropic campaigns and initiatives, at institutions including McGill University, Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, Havergal College, the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research, St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation and Providence Healthcare Foundation.
Robin was the founding editor of Perspectives in Philanthropy, Offord Group’s annual magazine, serving as the magazine’s editor-in-chief for ten years. She is a Board Member of Suomi-Koti Finnish Seniors Home, a Regional Director with the McGill Alumni Association Board, and a member of its Nominating/ Governance Committee. She is also a past Board Member of Bereaved Families of Ontario (Toronto), a founding member and past President of the McGill Women, Leadership and Philanthropy Initiative and a past faculty member of the Humber Fundraising Management Program, where she taught the Major & Planned Gifts track.
Her work and her advice are always centred on kindness, authenticity, integrity and excellence. Creating positive and philanthropic cultures and focusing on values-centred work have been a defining characteristic of Robin’s work. She brings a proven record of inspiring generosity and collaboration — helping individuals, volunteers, donors and organizational leaders come together around shared purpose. At the heart of her work is meaningful connection and the ability to ignite potential, empowering people and organizations to dream boldly and translate those aspirations into measurable, lasting results. Steven Presser
Steven Presser is a driven and highly personable fundraising executive with more than 20 years of experience in the charitable sector. He has shaped strategy, guided organizational growth, and delivered impact at leading institutions including the Royal Ontario Museum, St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation, and Pathways to Education Canada. Over the course of his career, Steven has advanced major fundraising campaigns, deepened donor engagement, and built strong philanthropic cultures within the organizations he has served.
Steven brings a proven track record of securing transformative gifts, mobilizing volunteer leadership, and directing teams across all revenue streams. He has successfully led capital campaigns and advanced complex philanthropic priorities, drawing on his well-established leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. His career reflects a commitment to building meaningful relationships and creating opportunities for donors to connect their passions with organizational missions, ultimately delivering results that strengthen communities and drive long-term impact.

Prabha Mattappally
Prabha brings more than 25 years of experience helping both charitable organizations and for-profit businesses build and oversee the systems, structure, and clarity they need to thrive. As a seasoned operations leader, fractional COO and entrepreneur, she specializes in turning complexity into simplicity - designing processes that unlock efficiency, strengthen teams, and position organizations for sustainable growth.
Her career includes leadership roles at St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation, St. Michael’s Hospital, Far & Wide Collective, and The Offord Group, where her responsibilities spanned operations, finance, and organizational effectiveness. She also leads her own practice providing COO and senior operational consulting services to startups and small to mid-sized organizations, including a recent engagement as COO for St. Peter’s Spirits. These experiences - spanning the charitable, public and private sectors - require adaptability, focus, and discipline, skills, and Prabha brings these to every client engagement. Her approach blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution: she not only identifies gaps but builds the roadmaps, tools, and practices that close them.
Operations StrategistAlana Fiander
Alana is a nonprofit and philanthropy professional with 11+ years of experience in donor relations, stewardship, and stakeholder engagement. She has worked across hospital foundations and fundraising organizations in Toronto, supporting major gifts, donor communications, event stewardship, and board operations. In past roles, Alana has managed donor reporting and high-touch communications while helping connect donors to the impact of their giving. She is known for her strong organizational skills, thoughtful relationship management, and commitment to advancing mission-driven work.
Alana is also an advocate for sports - being a big Blue Jays fan and a "Ballpark Chaser", she is an avid traveler and has an infinite curiosity in trying new things and seeing new places.
